TileDB v1.4.0 is out
Security, Performance, Usability
Secure your data with at-rest encryption. TileDB now supports AES-256 in the GCM mode, a symmetric, authenticated encryption algorithm. See the TileDB docs for details.
Specify a variety of data transformations (such as compression, encryption, byteshuffle, etc.) to be applied to data tiles before they are written to disk. TileDB decomposes each tile into chunks that fit in L1 cache and applies the filters with full-fledged parallelism. See the TileDB docs for details.
Real-valued Domains
Take advantage of TileDB's support for real-valued domains for sparse arrays, which allows you to store and query data naturally represented by floating point values (e.g., GPS coordinates). See the TileDB docs for details.
